Having Fibromyalgia can sometimes make us feel insecure and like we are not good enough, but we are. Things may be difficult for us but we are worthy of everything and anything just like everyone else. If anything Fibromyalgia has given us positive qualities to carry us through life.
Fibromyalgia does not make me any less of a daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, niece or friend. My journey makes me more of an empathetic, kind and head strong one who loves to live in the moment.
The struggles and pain both physical and emotion I experience does not make me unworthy of being a Godmother, it makes me a wiser, compassionate, mature and caring one.
Fibromyalgia does not make me less of a good girlfriend, it makes me more of a loving, understanding, appreciative one who cherishes every moment together and has hope for our future.
Chronic illness does not make me unworthy of employment, unworthy of being a teacher, it makes me more of a passionate, patient, willing and determined one.
I used to think that all my chronic illnesses took everything away from me at such a young age but I was wrong. I have gained so much admirable positive qualities in my journey with them which I am grateful for. I wouldn’t be the person I am today for myself and those in my life hadn’t I had this journey.
Remember you are worthy and your illness does not define you!
